Divorce and family law matters have been a major part of our legal practice. Henry has appeared in numerous family law courts throughout southern and central West Virginia, with occasional excursions into the northern and eastern parts of the state. We are also experienced in handling appeals, at both the circuit court and state supreme court levels. Whether your case involves divorce, custody, visitation, support, alimony, property division, modification, abuse and neglect, paternity, adoption, guardianship, or domestic violence, we have the knowledge, experience and track record to provide the legal representation you need.

If you are planning marriage, you should consider consulting with us about a prenuptial agreement. If you are going through the maze of family court, you should have an attorney who knows how to successfully take you over the hurdles, and the experience to convincingly present your case to the court. If contemplating an amicable divorce, you will want an attorney who will prepare the settlement documents properly, to insure there are no loose ends which may cause problems in the future. It has been our experience with numerous clients that it would have cost them considerably less to have it done right the first time, than it ultimately cost them later to deal with the problems created by poor representation or bad paperwork.

In family law matters, our fees are usually based on an hourly rate charge, with payment of a retainer fee required. Every case is different, and the hourly rate and retainer fee varies depending on the case. We believe you will find that our fees are quite reasonable, and tailored to each client’s needs and ability to pay. As with all legal cases we handle, we will provide an initial consultation free of charge. To discover how we can help you, and what it will likely cost you, CONTACT US.
